After fourteen years I finally came back to Sarajevo. It was quite strange, yet comforting to be back. It was nice to be back and explore the different places from my youth.

An hour in Mostar

We were running a bit late getting to Sarajevo, so we only had a very short time to hang out in Mostar. We barely had time to walk across the bridge and get back to our car.
We hired a driver to take us from Mlini to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the way up, we stopped by Pocitelj which was quite a tourist trap.
Last few days in Croatia

During the last few days in Croatia we spent our time finishing up our collective work and hanging out in the evenings. We had a blast renting out a boat and going to Cavtat and then getting stuck in a huge thunderstorm. Below are some photos from the last few days.
Abandonment in Mlini

Mlini is an interesting town by itself. It has a thriving resort and a few small hotels on one side of the town. On the other side reside three abandoned hotels. These hotels were left after the Balkan wars and are used for military practice and as a hangout for the local kids. Around the town are even more abandoned vacation houses and BnBs. I took one afternoon to walk around and try to capture the essence of these abandoned buildings.
