Because of the recession I skipped out on DefCon 17, but this year I made my pilgrimage to the hacking conference mecca. The talks were pretty good and I enjoyed hanging out with my former workmates.
St. George Island

We needed a vacation from our vacation so we went to Florida. Given that the oil from the Horizon spill did not reach St. George Island, we thought it would be a good idea to go for a swim.
Down in Tallahassee, FL Lessa and Brandon tied the knot. It was fun being an attendee instead of being in the rush as the wedding photographer. Still thought, I did my share of manual labor around the ceremony.
