Another day, another friend goes to tie the knot. In order to celebrate Steven and Lora’s engagement, we all went up to Athens to hang out at Terrapin and enjoy the scenery. We had a blast.

Kevin and Lacey get Engaged

Kevin–a colleague from my days at KPMG–asked me to assist him with his proposal. We carefully planned this ‘meeting’ to play out so that he may ask his lovely girlfriend to marry him. I was glad to be part of the event.

Instead of doing something lavish, we welcomed the new New Year at Leon’s Full Service. It was a low key evening and quite enjoyable.
This weekend we took a trip to Blueridge, GA to go apple picking. Despite the traffic, we had a a great time.

Given that we did not have much time before school starts, my friends and I went up to Helen, GA for the weekend. There we drove through the mountains, ate delicious vegan (and non-vegan) food, and went tubing in the Chattahoochee River.
