We got engaged! I’ve been carrying the ring with me the whole time. Tonight, it just felt right to ask Mon the big question. Before going to a Moroccan restaurant for dinner, we stopped to get some photos of the Eiffel tower at night. I snapped a few photos and then set up my tripod to take a long exposure. Mon wanted to get a picture of her in front of it, so I went to get my flash. With the flesh I got the ring. The tower started sparkling like it does every hour. Then and there I seized my chance. I put on the flash on the tripod, and squatted further on one knee. While Mon was gazing at the sparking lights, I got her attention and quickly asked if she would marry me. She was stunned. It took her a minute to recover and say yes! After finishing a bottle of champagne in the park. we headed to the restaurant to have some amazing Moroccan food.
