This year we celebrated the 4th by going to a friend’s low-key party. There we enjoyed multiple interesting conversations as most of the folks there we have not met. After lunch-dinner, we went to watch the fireworks in a nearby park. I was completely exhausted from running the Peachtree Road Race–where I placed in the high 22,000th place (with someone else’s number)–so we headed home earlier.
