We got a bit annoyed with the number of tourists in Cassis, so we spent the next two days exploring the surrounding area.
This turned out to be a great opportunity to find what other little towns had to offer before our bike trip from Avignon. We explored wineries, photogenic mountains that were painted by some famous painters, and finally, Pont du Gard which is an extraordinary Roman aqueduct.
