The warranty was running out on my 2011 WRX STI, and given all of the life events, it made sense to downscale to something more economical. Moving from a Subaru to a VW was a pretty favorably one as I am really enjoying the car. Cheaper insurance, better gas mileage, quieter ride, better sound system and more comfortable seats have been a major win. The GTI–knock on wood–has been trouble free so far. Anyway, here are a few more pictures from the backyard photo shoot.
