We took a boat taxi across the Grand Canal to see what else Venice has to offer. It was more of the same, but the beauty of the canal and the architecture made up for it. We went by Peggy Guggenheim Collection and then strolled the city until nightfall. Venice was a wonderful city.

After three excruciating days in Florence, we took a train ride to Venice. On our way there, we had to deal with some Spanish teenagers who were causing a ruckus on the train. Finally, in Venice we settled in to our hotel room, explored the city, and got hailed on. Golf ball sized hail is something you do not want to get hit by. After the hail settled, we took a night stroll and saw the true beauty of Venice at night.
