Mon’s Garden

Mon has a wonderful square garden setup in her backyard. It has tomatoes, kale, onions, and strawberries. Despite the bugs nibbling on every plant, as the garden is kept organic, the few veggies/fruits we had out of the garden were spectacular.

Oh wow, I’m in New York Times

Strange thing happened today. As I was reading through the times, I found myself reading an article about a local museum, the Go Fish Georgia Educational Center. While looking through their gallery, I noticed that one of my photos is on display in this museum. Some time last year, I was contacted by a developer of the museum asking for the rights of the photo. Given that it was going to go towards education, I had no problem of them using my picture. Anyway, I’m just glad that I can finally say “…haven’t you seen my work in New York Times?”

Miami, FL

After spending Xmas in Tallahassee, FL, New Years in Asheville, NC, it was only obvious we should swing by Miami, FL for some nice weather. It was beautiful out there, however, when we flew back to Atlanta a snowmageddon started.

Sweetwater Creek State Park

Given that we missed out the foliage happenings up in the mountains, we went to Sweetwater Creek State Park to catch the leaves before they all turn brown.

Nature, You SCARY!

I went on a little hike through Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville. It was really foggy and I had a great time hiking around and taking pictures of the park.
