After our stay in Avignon, we got on our heavy city bikes and set for the countryside.
Our plan was to spend four days biking 15 to 30 miles a day around Southern France. Our plans were ruined by the bikes, the terrain, and lack of accurate mapping. Luckily we rented a car midway through our journey, and seen a lot more of the countryside. However, before our dreadful day of sliding on gravel on our city bikes, we seen a lot of wonderful little villages, Roman ruins, and some really awesome places.
