Still unadjusted to the timezone, we slept in nearly the whole day. In order to meet one of Mon’s friend, we had to get out of bed. We walked all over the northern part of the city. Along the way we saw some weird Christmas displays at the department store windows, and ate at a phenomenal vegan restaurant, Bar D’Artisans.

We had a couple of friends over for a proper vegan July 4th cookout.

Instead of putting up a bunch of post, I though I’d summarize some of my favorite eats of this month. So far we had the following:
May 28
We threw together a small shindig for my birthday. There was amazing food, new friends, old friends, Mon’s friends. It was pretty much awesome.
We raided our garden, tossed up the local CSA’s veggies, and supplemented the rest to make this delicious meal.
